Choosing the app language
Debaty speaks fourteen languages. Choose the language of buttons and menus — your posts stay as written.
Debaty's interface is available in fourteen languages: Dutch, English, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, French, Arabic, Bengali, Portuguese, Russian, Urdu, Indonesian, German and Frisian.
Choosing your language
- Tap the globe icon in the navigation and pick your language, or
- Go to Settings › Appearance & language and choose under Language.
Your choice applies immediately. This only changes the language of buttons and menus — your posts stay exactly as written. An individual post in another language can be translated separately.
Right-to-left
Arabic and Urdu are shown fully right-to-left; the whole layout mirrors neatly. More about accessible use: Accessibility.
