A shared blog post now displays a full preview map

If you share a blog post from Debaty on X, LinkedIn or WhatsApp, you'll see the large example map with the image and the title on it before that card remained small or empty. Also a link that you share immediately after publishing, shows the image right now.

If you share a Debate link, you now see a real preview

So far, WhatsApp, Signal and LinkedIn only showed a small favicon at a shared debate.com link. Now a full card comes with: the Debaty fish, the opening phrase of the site and the explanation under it in your own language. Existing links that you previously shared remain their old preview; New shares get the card right away.

Shared links now show a Debate preview everywhere

If you share a page of Debate in WhatsApp, LinkedIn or Signal, you'll see a real map with image, title and explanation in the waiting list, the help center, the legal pages and the login screens. Previously, that was often just a bare link.

Empty screens are no longer a gray line

Your lists, notifications, concepts, collections, starter packages, stories and followed topics now show the same fish illustration with a sentence that says what you can do, instead of just saying that there is nothing. And on the welcome page swims a school in which every fish is someone who answered the question today.

Choose above your timeline how it is sorted

Dark mode now also colors the scrollbar and the loading screens

If your theme was 'follow my system' and your device was dark, the app could display a dark page with a white scrollbar, light selection menus and a bright white sweep over the charging screens. That happened especially after changing language. The chrome of the browser now follows the same theme as the rest.

New page: Our promises, with a date underneath

On /promises there are seven promises that Debaty already makes today: no data sales, advertisements on the subject and not on you, take your data with you whenever you want, an algorithm that explains itself, own servers in the Netherlands, no tricks, and thirty days if we ever stopped. 12 auxiliary articles in all 14 languages

If you sign up new, the tour starts with today's question: One tap and you can see where you land between everyone who answered today. Skip from the first screen; the day question is just at the top of your timeline.

You see now who changed their minds . . . and by whom

From now on, your profile will show how often you changed your mind and how often you contributed to someone else. In a discussion a reaction that changed one's opinion gets a small mark; Tap it and read what it means.

The whole aid section is now in 14 languages

You can now enter a live blog on another website

Like a bubble, you'll find under Share a 'Include' option on the liveblog page. You paste the code on your own site and the card keeps track of itself: new updates appear within thirty seconds, and once the live blog is closed, the card displays the final summary. Your photos may be much bigger now

An ordinary phone photo often didn't fit: free was the border 2 MB. That's 10 MB now, and with Debaty+ 30 MB. If you choose something too big, the composer says that immediately when you choose you are not waiting for half an upload for an error.

Debate now has an editorial account

From now on @redactie kicks off calls: settings and open questions to respond to. You recognize the account by the official mark next to the name "One theorem" from the editor is an invitation to disagree, not Debaty's position.

Community membership list: search, profile card and badges

A community member list has become a true member view: search by name or @handle, sort by recent activity, administrators at the top, mark by new members and 'load more'. You get a message now when you get a badge

If an administrator or moderator assigns a badge to you, you will see that from now on in your notifications with a link to your profile, where it is next to your name. A withdrawn badge disappears silently; You're deliberately not getting a call.

Liveblogs: jump to core moments and share single updates

The core moments at the top of a live blog are now clickable and take you to that update. Each update has its own divisible link, shows if it has been updated, and new updates come in behind a button . If you are logged out, the page refreshes itself.

Video in your liveblog updates

Are you reporting an event live? Then you can also update a video fragment with the same button, upload and quality as on the timeline. Readers will see the video appear immediately, even without an account, and with Debate+ your clip may be longer and sharper.

The liveblog composer can now do everything the regular composer can

If you put an update in a live blog, you will now have the same input field as under a bubble: formatting, emoji, poisons, photos drag or paste, and a counter that warns you instead of quietly cutting off your text. If you call someone with a @, then that person actually gets a notification, a link gets an example card, and readers can appreciate each update separately.

With Debate+ your video can last 10 minutes and it returns in 1080p

Video is now the clearest difference between free and Debate+. Free stays exactly what it was: 3 minutes, 250 MB, 720p, 5 per day. With Debaty+ you upload videos of 10 minutes and up to 1 GB, and your video comes out in 1080p instead of 720p. If you choose a file that is too big for your account, you will hear it now before uploading.

There are thirty start calls waiting for you

In fifteen communities the editor has opened a debate or open conversation about living, care, sports, climate, technology, food and more. Each conversation starts with a short introduction and a question, so you can immediately talk without having to start anything yourself.

Too large pictures now say that Debate+ gives more space

If a photo is too large for your subscription, the composer says that in so many words instead of just 'uploading failed'. In addition, management can assign, extend and remove Debaty+ itself.

The status page no longer reports any malfunctions that were not there

Six parts seemed to be becoming slow at the same time. Those weren't six slow shifts, but one moment our key storage stopped because construction tools ran right through it . And the line 'The connection to Debate' henceforth measures the real site instead of the testing environment, so that work on the site there no longer appears as a malfunction.

Failure days on the status page only count once

A number of days in the history of status.debatey.com were counted twice, so there seemed to be disturbances that weren't there and one day read 'not measured' while there were measurements. The days are calculated again from the underlying measurements; What it says now is consistent with what was measured.

Saving settings and interests works in every browser

The server told browsers to read and create only, not update or delete. Browsers who adhered to that blocked the storage of your interests, your settings and your profile before the request went out. That's corrected.

Resetting your interests at Settings

The welcome tour has been updated to the site as it is now. There's been a step behind it. Discover the page where you see what's going on outside of the people you're following. Choose your topics from all 28 groups, bundled by section

The question "what do you want to talk about?" offered six topics while Debate 28 groups have been unable to choose sports, food, travel, work, health and a lot more. Now they are all there, neatly bundled under Society, Knowledge & Technology, Culture & Entertainment and Life, with the same icon and the same name as with Groups. Whatever you chose earlier, just stay put.

The list of people to follow loads right now

In the tour the step with suggestions sometimes gave an error message first, after which it only loaded after trying again. That was because two storage operations got in the way of each other; They share the same security sticks now.

Retracted API keys from the test phase are no longer in your settings

On your setup page for API keys there were still withdrawn keys from our own test runs. They're cleaned up now, so you can only see your own keys.

The status page has been redesigned

The page that shows if Debaty is doing it now looks calmer and clearer. The days that have not yet been measured are marked as one plane with the dates added instead of dozens of dashes, so you can see the real measurements again. At the top is a new head with a button back to Debaty.

The Discover page has a right column on desktop

The list of changes is no longer behind what is really built

What changes were recorded, but remained on the test environment: at debate.com, the list stopped on 29 July and sixty-one more things had been added. There is now a fixed step that takes the approved rules to the real site, in all fourteen languages. Concepts stay behind until someone checks them.

The status page now clearly shows when nothing has been measured

On the status page, days without measurements were a wide, pressure curved plane that pushed away the measured days. Those days are now a quiet, short indent: still recognizable as "here is not measured," but the image is again about the days where we do know something.

Standing photos and videos now fill your whole story screen

A standing video or photo in a story runs from edge to edge, with the progress bar, the name of the maker and the reaction buttons over it instead of around it. A lying recording keeps its black edges: otherwise you would lose half of them.

Read your Debate in Frisian, then the latest 29 items on that page were still in Dutch. They've been translated now, so you read the whole list in your own language.

You always get an email when you put on the waiting list

If you were already on the waiting list, or if you already have an account, it stayed quiet after signing up while the page said there was an email on the way. Now you get a message in both cases: 'you are on the list' with a logout button, or 'you already have an account' with a link to reset your password.

Each group now has its own identification

Groups looked too much alike: There were 18 cover designs for twenty-eight groups, so the same colours came back. Each group now wears its own signed icon "big" in the head of the group, small next to the name on the overview page, in the suggestions and during the tour. Same sign everywhere, so you'll recognize a group at a glance.

On Live you now see which live blogs are running

The Live page opens with the live blogs that are currently running with the latest update, how quickly it is credited and how many people are watching. New updates appear automatically, without changing the page. Below are the stories of today, and closed live blogs can be read back.

Your ad credit will open again after we have corrected your balance

If we managed a correction on your ad credit, then your ad center then gave an error message instead of your balance. The correction was good, you just didn't see it. Now he's just in your review, with amount and reason.

Find communities and walk right in

On the community page you can now search, see your own communities at the top and become a member without clicking first. Each community has an envelope, shows which topics belong to it, and has a button to put something in immediately. On your phone the communities are now in the bottom bar; Live has moved a tap further to More.

The developer guides now match what the API does

The guide 'Getting started' said that your first request returns a list of debates, while the example above checks your key and picks up the public timeline, and there was nothing about each endpoint asking for its own scope, so you walked a 403. Are you building something on Debaty? With an API key you can now retrieve the public timeline, read a message with its comments, get a profile and its messages and browse the debates. You never see more than a visitor would see on the site: anyone who puts his profile on 'only followers' or shares a message only with followers, is also protected via the API.

YouTube and Vimeo videos now play in a bubble

If you paste a YouTube or Vimeo link, you will immediately see a player with a play button instead of a regular link card. The preview comes from our own server: only when you press playback will you contact YouTube or Vimeo. Works in bubbles, comments and blog posts.

The sitemap is now readable in your browser

Open your debate.com/sitemap.xml, you'll see a wall of XML tags so far. Now there is a neat table: every address Debaty offers to the public, with the fourteen languages in which it exists. Search engines get exactly the same file as before. Two pages that weren't in it have been added: installation explanation and landing for developers.

Put Debaty as an app on your home screen

There is now a page that explains how to install Debate as an app per system: iPhone and iPad, Android, Mac and Windows. Where your browser supports it there is a real installation button. And enable notifications at the top of the notification settings, during the tour, and from that installation page instead of just at the bottom of a long list.

Your data download now also includes your operations, views and attachments

If you pull your data, there are five species that weren't in it before: the previous versions of messages you edited, how often your messages have been viewed, the files you sent to a support question, the course of your identity check and your attempts to pay (also the failed one that never received an invoice).

Choose your own profile

Your profile can now be public, just for members, just for your followers or just for your friends. In the same settings, you can also hide your follower list, hide your online status, disable read confirmations in messages and set the target group with which your new bubbles start by default.

Follow a debate, a session or a game live: You post short photo updates, mark the core moments and close with a summary. You start via the place menu, via Live, or from a theorem and on the help page you see how it works.

Search now also finds blogs, auxiliary articles and comments

The search bar first only looked at people, bubbles, discussions and tags. Now he also searches the blog, the help center, the legal pages, the list of changes, live blogs, the question of the day and all comments. There are two new tabs on the search screen: Content and Comments. The auxiliary center uses the same search engine, so 'reporting' with accent now also finds something.

When you're busy, you see 'too busy' instead of 'page doesn't exist'

If a lot was requested at the same time, then a page sometimes disappeared stating that it did not exist also the privacy statement and conditions. Now you get a quiet report that it's a little busy, with a button that takes off until you can try again. And the legal pages and the knowledge base are briefly remembered, so it usually doesn't even come to that.

Reading times now as "Yesterday" instead of "1.292 min ago"

On the live page, in the mode queue and in the action center, how long ago something happened was only counted in minutes: something a day old stood as "1.292 min ago." Everywhere is the form you know now, 3 minutes ago, 21 hours ago, yesterday, 3 days ago, 2 months ago, in all 14 languages, with the full date if you stand on it.

The blog has a new face, with share button and more formatting

The blog overview now shows the image with each message, with the latest piece large at the top and the reading time. On a message the image stands as a real header, you can share it or show it as a QR code, and click on the bottom to the previous or next piece. Editors can now put frames, highlighted quotes, captions and videos in a message.

If you cancel your account, you will not appear in search and suggestions

Anyone who cancels his account gets 30 days to think about it before everything is really gone. During that period, you were introduced to other members. From now on, no more: Your profile remains accessible to those you already know, but you no longer show up in search results or in strangers' suggestions. If you change your mind and log back in, everything will be right back.

In forms you see only one small avatar instead of a line of text

Above every form where you put something there was a rule explaining to which account you were working on. It's gone. There's only your avatar now, small and next to the input field. If you have multiple accounts, tap to switch. An organizational or official account gets a colored edge, so you see that you don't publish as yourself.

Advertisers now see the numbers of their own placements

In the advertising center there is a list of your permanent placements under Statistics: What place, what period, how far it is, what you paid (excluding VAT) and where your invoice is. Views are deliberately not included in the . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The management panel now shows if the mode is holding

On the moded dashboard is one number at the top: how many days of work is open at the current pace. Invoices can be entered in the accounts

Final invoices can be sent from management to the accounting package, with the Debaty invoice number on it. If it fails, the notification is included with a button to try again.

Your invoices are now complete in the advertiser section

Each booked advertising spot delivers an invoice with the correct VAT rate: 21% for Dutch companies, 0% with VAT shifted for companies in another EU country, and 0% outside the EU. You will find them under Advertising → Billing, with status and a PDF to download. From now on, only business can advertise, so we'll also ask for your KvK number.

You can book an ad site for a week or a month

Advertisers choose a place and a period in the advertising center, immediately see what it costs and when it precisely starts and ends, and book it. One place is per period of one advertiser: If it's taken, you'll see it before you book.

The status page tells in one sentence if everything works

At the top of the status page there is now one clear statement "Everything works" or "There is a malfunction" . A part with a problem stands out by color, form and word, and when we can't measure anything, the page says that, instead of staying green.

What changes is now on the changelog, in fourteen languages

The changelog has become a continuous list per day. Every change that is approved can be read immediately, and the translation to the thirteen other languages will follow.

Blog messages can now be scheduled ahead

The blog management has been given a true writing environment: a format bar with a live preview next to your text, and images that you upload directly. You put a message now at a date and time when it publishes itself, you can delete a message, and you choose whether to write in English or Dutch .

Blog messages now appear automatically in all languages

If you publish a blog message, Debaty automatically fills the missing language versions into .. A translation written by someone by hand is never overwritten, and a language without a translation model does not get a fake translation but simply the source text.

The day question management is cleared: first the queue, then the calendar

The daily demand management screen showed two complete workflows at once. Now you choose what to do at the top of your list of candidates to assess whether to plan the agenda with a brief state of affairs above it. The fourteen languages are folded together into one foldable rule, the notifications above a day to a maximum of one, and from a candidate you jump to his day in the agenda.

Deleted accounts leave no empty conversation

If you spoke to someone who had his account deleted after that, there could be a conversation left that counted but didn't show anything at 'archived' then there was a 1 without a call underneath. They've been cleaned up. If there is anything to see, the conversation will stay with your messages and the other one will be called 'Deleted Account'.

A suspension now also stops posting messages

Anyone who is suspended by a moderator could simply post messages in the objection period. You can't do that anymore. reading and objecting remains possible, places not.

Speed limits are now also working against whom they are trying to circumvent

The limits on login, registration, search and the waiting list form depended on a cookie that a visitor could invent himself: Whoever put a new cookie in each time got a fresh counter. Debaty checks that cookie first. Furthermore, the waiting list form received the same invisible bone defence that already had the contact form.

From now on, we will only store half the IP address of your devices

When logging in, we recorded the entire IP address of your device, while our privacy statement promises to keep it masked. That's right now: only half of it is stored (145.53.xxx.xxx), enough to recognize whether a network is yours and no more than that. Existing sessions have been adjusted retroactively.

Security updates for the parts Debaty runs on

We updated the building blocks under Debaty to their latest safe versions. You won't notice any of it when you use it. Also, the status page is now always on an encrypted connection.

Double clicking on send only creates one more thing

If you click twice on the contact form or when inviting someone, you will now receive one ticket or one invitation instead of two. Also, a text ending on an emoji was sometimes truncated to a half sign; That's settled.

Dates with webhooks are now in your own language

The delivery overview of webhooks showed Dutch dates to anyone who had not set Dutch or English as a language. Now the date format simply follows your own language.

A special character failure message is now an ordinary error message

If your text was stuck with an invisible steering sign in it, something that comes out of a pdf or a spreadsheet, then when you posted a message, changed your name or search you got the message that something went wrong on our side. Nothing went wrong: Your text just couldn't contain that one sign. You're just being told the sign can't.

The cookie statement now fits your phone

The table with cookie names was wider than the screen, so you had to move to /cookies to read the explanation. The names are breaking down nicely now.

The account menu reads as a list

"Add Account" was the biggest item in your account menu with its long explanation. The explanation is still there, but on one line, and the row is now as high as Profile and Lists. In the story-composer the bar at the top holds space and a dash to the content below, even if you scroll.

Tables have clean corners again

The upper edge of tables did not go to the corners: The background of the column heads painted away the rounded edge, which could be seen as two holes in dark mode. All four corners are now closed, on each page with a table.

If you're alone in your school, now you see your own face

If no one else took the same side as you today, then there was "1 person in total" with an empty space and a sentence that said others chose the same. Now your own avatar is there, with a rule that fits.

Settings are now called what they're about

The names in your settings will tell you what you're doing: 'Edit your profile' is now called 'Edit your profile', because you edit your entire profile. 'My questions' is now on the side menu on a large screen.

The support account now has a complete profile

Debate Support didn't have an avatar, no cover and no mark now, with a bio in your language saying where you ask your question and where the answer comes in. And the opening post of the Debate account has been rewritten: he now tells in the first sentence where Debate for is, in Dutch and English.

You can now delete your own discussion

On your own discussion there will be a delete button, as with your messages. This can be done as long as no one else has responded or has taken a stand.

The transparency page now shows real figures

At the bottom of /transparency is how many notifications came in, how many were deleted and how often an objection was assigned. Those numbers are counted the moment you open the page, so they can't lag behind. The sub-processor list, the earning model, the colophon and the contact point for authorities have also been rewritten in plain language.

Read the legal documents in your language

The conditions, privacy statement, cookies, guidelines, the moderation policy and the rules on minors are now in all 14 languages. The version you're reading also applies to you. At the bottom is in your own language where you can go with a complaint, even if you do not live in the Netherlands.

Stopped support mail can now be read back in management

Mail that was put aside as spam or as an automatic reply was saved but was nowhere to be seen. On a wide screen you see the previous and next story next to each other

If you open a story on desktop, then the previous one and the next one are on both sides. Click to browse it, or use arrow keys; Space pauses and Esc closes. On mobile, everything stays the way it was.

Reactions to a story now say what they mean

Each story contains five comments with the word: Once, Disagree, Doubt, Strong Point and New for me. You can give more than one at a time only Once and Ones are mutually exclusive. As soon as you react, you see how others reacted; whoever posted the story always sees that division.

Position and cover stories have their own look again

A position-story and a 'I've changed my mind'-story should look different than an ordinary text-story: own form, own colors. You didn't see all the stories got the same coral-colored background. If you leave the background dial alone now, then you get story the look that belongs to that species; You choose a tile, then you win.

References in legal documents are clickable again

A reference to the terms of the directives was written as an ordinary text and did nothing. You can click on it again now, and you stay in your own language.

Stories got their own Debaty image language

The background of a story is now deep water with tides and depth lines that move slowly, instead of a still gradient. Every kind of story has its own atmosphere, and the same story always looks the same. Put your device on "reduce motion," then the image stops.

Read the Terms and Privacy Statement as a plain language

Both documents have been rewritten: short sentences, plain words, and above each chapter in two lines what is underneath. At the same time, there's a lot more in "Debaty," which is exactly what you don't put here, what measures we take, how you object to, and what data we use it for, and how long we keep it. Your removal request will be executed now

If you asked to delete your account, you got confirmation that it will be done in 30 days, but that last step was never taken. 30 days after your request, your account really disappears, including your files.

The first click after a decision works again in all management queues

Whoever handled a case and then clicked a button at the next row saw nothing happen and had to click twice. The list just moved away from the mouse at the wrong time; It won't happen again.

Undoing did fix your decision, but the line remained off the screen until you reloaded the page yourself. Now he's coming right back.

First you got a separate email per comment, rating or new follower, now the first goes directly and Debaty collects the rest fifteen minutes to one overview. Your answer to a support email is now arriving

If you respond to an e-mail of support from your own mail program, that answer will appear in your question instead of disappearing. The quoted history and your signature are cut out, and an answer doesn't fit in to any current question, then it becomes a new .

Passed notifications are now really disappearing from the mode queue

The queue also showed things that had already been decided, complete with buttons, so the number above the list did not match the action center and real work was pushed out of the picture. The list now only shows what to do.

You can now send a screenshot if you mail support

If you e-mail a question for support, then you can send a screenshot, a PDF or a text file . From now on, you will also receive a receipt with your reference, so that you know that your question has arrived.

The advertiser center is divided into sections

Company data, ads, invoices and statistics are no longer on one long page, but each one in its own section with a menu next to it is the same menu that the management panel uses.

You can now fold the right column to management, mode and advertise

On a wide screen, there is a button on the top right that removes the community column and broadens its contents. Your choice depends on your account, so it also applies to your other devices, and each of the three work screens remembers its own stand.

All management queues now work with the same keys

You walk with j and k through the notifications and decide with one key; press ? for the list. You can also check multiple cases and deal with them in one go, and after each decision you have thirty seconds to take him back.

Multiple notifications about the same message are now one case

If a group of people reported the same message, that became as many loose cases in the mode queue: the moderator handled one and the rest either stood or gave an error message. Now it's one case with a counter and the reasons are there, one decision closes the whole bundle, and gets everyone who reported it when there's a decision.

Your question of support is now one conversation in the app

Did you ask a question through the contact form? Then you can read the answer in the app, under Settings → My questions, and you can respond right there. If you would rather answer by e-mail, it will end up in the same thread. If we don't hear from you for three days, we'll complete the question by ourselves with a message about it, and your response will just reopen it.

The test environment is now closed and visibly marked

next.debatey.com is no longer accessible to everyone: Only allowed networks and accounts come in. If you work on it, you'll see that right now a colored stripe at the top and a label with the environment name and the version running. From now on, the testing environment also works on its own copy of the data and can no longer send out email, payments or push messages.

Search engines find the Debaty sitemap now

The file that first retrieves search engines (robots.txt) did not show where to find the sitemap. That rule was omitted during construction because the address of the site is not yet known, and nobody noticed. Now it's there, with the right address.

Milestones no longer send you e-mail

A deserved milestone should be a quiet notification in the app and not an email. That was also the case in the institutions, but an e-mail went out. It's now fixed: the app message stays, the mail is gone.

Debate now has its own account

The account @debatey is furnished with its own avatar, cover and explanation in all fourteen languages, and is recognizable as official. The Day Dive and the luminous stories now show Debaty as sender, with a name to click on, instead of a fixed icon. The test account Debaty Dev is clearly designed differently, so you never confuse the two.

Delete your account now really erase everything

If you delete your account, the last one will disappear: the display counters below your messages, the responses others wrote below, and the notifications that referred to your content. Earlier, such a removal could stick halfway through without anyone noticing.

Tables are now readable on your phone

The privacy, cookie and billing tables will be a list of cards with a label with each value on a narrow screen, so you don't have to move aside anymore. Administrator tables that do slide aside keep their first column in view.

The contact form has breathing space again

At the bottom of the contact page the form stuck to the line of the footer. It is now in the same column as the text above it, with the same space surrounding it as elsewhere on the site and on a wide screen the input fields are no longer too wide.

The Action Center remains readable on any screen width

In the management overview, the label fell to some cards on a second line while it fitted to the neighbors on a single and just on a wide screen, because the side beams narrowed the columns more than on a narrower window. The label is now on each card on its own line, and the chart grid looks at the space that really exists instead of the window width.

Badges with a number have the same color everywhere

The counters at Moderation and Management each had their own color . . . in dark mode stood orange next to pink while they say the same. Each badge with a number now means the same everywhere and also looks the same, and a counter above 99 is neatly truncated instead of pushing the menu apart.

The choice for your kind of story now fits on every screen

When making a story, choose what kind of story it becomes. Those six choices were pressed in one row, so words like "Standpoint" ran over their button. They are now in two rows of three, with an icon above the word "you" on your phone just like on a large screen, and in all fourteen languages. You can now also make the choice with the keyboard.

The star on a light story is a whole circle again

The small circle on the top right on the ring of an illuminated story was cut off at the top, because the story row was exactly 4 pixels too tight for it. There is now space above and at the end of the row; horizontal sliding works unchanged.

If you clicked "Take off your tour," Debaty would only remember that in that one browser. Notifications now take you to the right place

Some of the notifications came out on an empty error page "members have added context to your message," comments to your story and notifications about your ads. All types of reports have been checked and now land where they belong. If a report is about something that has been deleted, then from now on there is what happened and how to get back to your notifications.

The Debate fish is in every mail

In some e-mails, such as the daily summary 'Your Day of Discussing', there was a broken image at the top instead of the logo. That's solved, and all the e-mails Debaty sends now look the same: The same header, the same subject with 'Debaty ·' before and the same footer. Failed to send Debaty the confirmation email, you got an error message while your account was already created (whether your deletion was already running). On the second attempt, you were told your name was already taken. The confirmation email is now a confirmation and not a condition: The act goes on and you just get an answer.

You can now see why push notifications only come from one account at a time

If there are more accounts on your device, the Notification Settings page explains that your phone only has one push subscription per browser: You will receive push notifications from the account you are logged in with, and not from the other. In-app and email continue to work per account.

If you have more than one account on this device, the list is now in your account menu: Tap your avatar, tap the other account. You see how much is available for you per account. Multiple accounts on one device

Discussions can be found again via search engines

The sitemap contains the file by which search engines discover which pages there are . That was due to a wrong number in the application, leaving the list quietly empty. All the ongoing discussions are now back in, and conversations under their own address.

Save your best stories in a bundle on your profile

Stories disappear after 24 hours. From now on, you can keep them in a bundle with a name, and it's on your profile so whoever comes by can see what you stand for. A story that you placed on your circle remains of your circle: Your bundle shows per visitor only what it may see, and if you want to see it wider, the app explicitly asks you.

You decide by story who sees him and who sees him

Members can add context to a message

Is there anything misleading in a message? You can now write a short note with sources. Such a note will only be placed underneath the message if members who disagree normally find both useful. All the notes can be read also that did not make it, with the votes and the reason. The line is written on /how-work-a-note.

With Debate+ you write bubbles of 2000 characters

Free everything remains as it was: 500 characters, bigger than X and Bluesky. With Debaty+ you have 2000 so a nuanced point doesn't have to be shortened until it doesn't add up. Long contributions collapse into the timeline with 'read on' and are completely on their own page.
