Adding polls, images and media
Add an image, GIF, video or poll to your bubble — with required alt text for images.
The toolbar under the writing field has everything to make your bubble richer.
An image or video
- Tap the image or video button in the toolbar and pick a file.
- For an image you can crop and rotate; drag the frame as you like.
- Add a short alt text (image description) — so people who can't see can follow along. If you have Require alt text on, Debaty asks for it first.
A GIF or emoji
Tap the GIF or emoji button, search and pick. The GIF appears as a preview in your post.
A poll
- Tap the poll button.
- The text of your bubble is the question; below it, fill in two to four answer options.
- Pick a duration: 1, 3 or 7 days.
- Post the bubble; others can then vote.
Media is shown in the timeline at a sensible maximum height, with a tap to view it large. More about accessible images is in Accessibility.
