Reporting someone or something
Come across something that is not right? Report it via the ⋯ menu on the content.
Come across a bubble, debate, reply or profile that breaks the guidelines or the law? Report it — it takes a few taps.
Step by step
- Open the ⋯ menu at the top-right of the content.
- Choose Report.
- Pick a reason: Spam or deception, Harassment or bullying, Hate speech, Violence or threats, Disinformation, Self-harm or suicide, Illegal content, Suspected minor, or Something else.
- Optionally add a short note and submit.
What happens next
- Your report is confidential — we never show it to the reported person.
- A moderator reviews the report and makes a decision with a statement of reasons.
- Suspect someone is under 16? Choose Suspected minor — see Minors and age.
Just want to stop seeing someone, without reporting? Then mute or block that person. More about the process is in the moderation policy.
