Using lists

Group members into your own reading feed, or share protection with a moderation list.

A list groups members. There are two kinds. Open your lists via the account menu › Lists (or go to Lists).

Making a list

  1. Tap New list.
  2. Give the list a name.
  3. Choose the Kind:
  • Curation — a reading feed of the chosen members.
  • Moderation — a shared mute/block list for protection.
  1. Add members.

On the free tier you can make three lists. With Debaty+ you can make as many as you like.

What a list does

  • A curation list can be opened as its own reading feed, and used as a source for a custom tab.
  • A moderation list only does something once you subscribe to it with an effect: Subscribe and mute or Subscribe and block. That effect also covers members added later. Blocking is mutual; moderators and admins always stay visible.

Private or public

A list is private by default: only you see it, and nobody notices they are on it. With Debaty+ you can make a list public. Then anyone can open it — including the members on it — and subscribe to it.
